Great news!…..To date, 8th October 2024 – a whopping  £11,660.50 has now been raised for Strathcarron Hospice and MacMillan Cancer Support Scotland from the sale of paintings at our “Ongoing” Charity Exhibition in ”Blossoms” Coffee Shop/Bistro at Torwood Garden Centre, Central Park, Bellsdyke Road, Larbert. Thank you to all of our lovely customers for buying our paintings to help our fund raising efforts for these 2 charities.

“The Gallery”, within G R McFarlane, Watchmaker, Jewellers & Art Gallery, 41 Mill Street, Alloa. FK10 1DW Admission FREE Opening hours: 10am to 4pm – Monday to Saturday. Closed Sundays Central Arts Exhibition of Paintings & small artworks A wide variety of over 200 paintings, Giclee prints and photography. Includes local scenes, views of the River Forth, landscapes, beach scenes, floral, wildlife & also contemporary.  Plus printed mugs, handmade cards, handmade jewellery and hand painted coasters etc etc. Disabled access to downstairs gallery only.

As a member you can submit your paintings, giclee prints, ceramics, sculptures etc to our exhibitions ‘free of charge’. You can also have a maximum of 50 photos of your paintings posted in your own Gallery Section of our website ‘free of charge’.

Central Arts is an entirely voluntary and non-profit making association of artists in Central Scotland. It was founded in June 1986. Membership covers a wide area in Central Scotland including Stirlingshire, Clackmananshire, Perthshire, Fife, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Over the years Central Arts has staged exhibitions to raise funds for the following charities.

(1) – In 2002 Central Arts Association received an Award during ‘Volunteers Week’ for dedication and commitment. (2) – In February 2009 Central Arts Association received an “Outstanding contribution to the Arts in 2008 Award” from Clackmannanshire Arts Forum. (3) – 2022/2023 – Central Arts Association – Prestige Award Winner – “Scottish Non Profit Making Organisation of the year for Art”
